This equipment is used for transferring and/or elevating waste water or the sludge and screenings occurring after mechanical screens. This is a convenient mode of transferring the screenings arriving at the ground level into containers.

It can be prepared with various length and inclination parameters corresponding to the existing engineering conditions. The possibility of changing direction can be ensured if required, when a number of units are coupled together. Regarding its material, it can be produced from stainless steel (1.4301) or acid resistant steel (1.4571).

It can be used also in outdoor locations if provided with temper heating and thermal insulation cover. We prepare the intake hopper on a case by case basis, usually in an entire closed version.

The screenings collected by mechanical screen usually contain lots of water, which should removed somehow.

The spiral screens could be prepared with integrated compacting zone. This function is accomplished by screenings compactor in case of planar screens. It transfers the dewatered screenings to an elevated location (usually above a container), while the pressed out water is returned to the appropriate point of the wastewater treatment process.

The desired dry material content of the screenings can be achieved by means of presses providing various forces. The degree of dewatering could be up to 50 % with the use of presses.
