The HydroSelf tilting flushing gate provides a flushing system that is suitable for eliminating settled debris occurring in stormwater reservoirs of unified or separated sewer systems, which is capable of cleaning the entire floor of a pool part of a given size with a single flushing operation. The equipment is characterised by highly efficient cleaning and low energy cost. The flushing water flows to the bottom of the pool along the arched wall, where it produces a high velocity flushing wave as a result of its potential energy, with its head wave being extensively turbulent. The wave loosens the settled debris on the floor of the pool, and carries it to the flushing sump.

The flushing gate is located at the upper part of the pool, which is dimensioned properly for the volume necessary for flushing the given part of the pool. The flushing wave is triggered automatically, the tilting produces low noise, and the gate returns to its initial position smoothly. Its material could be either stainless steel (1.4301) or acid resistant steel (1.4571).

Its operation is economically efficient, and its installation is simple in case of existing as well as in case of newly built pools.

The HydroGuard culvert flusher is suitable for cleaning sewer sections at the crossing of water courses and roads, as well as culverts below buildings. The culvert flusher is to be placed in a shaft located at the end of the culvert or in the next shaft downstream to the culvert. The culvert flusher contains a flushing shield, an electro-hydraulic manipulating system, water level sensors at the downstream and upstream sides, as well as a local control system and optional remote link.

The robust design together with the corrosion resistant steel components provides automatic operation, continuous flushing, thus ensuring a high operating reliability. It is a space saving structure which can be installed as retrofitting also.

The HydroSelf equipment represents a flushing system which is suitable of eliminating the sediment accumulating in stormwater reservoirs of combined or separated sewer systems. It is capable of cleaning the entire floor surface of a given part of the pool with a single flushing. The sewer HydroSelf wave is a characteristic flood wave which is capable of transferring lots of debris.

The equipment is operated by means of a float, therefore, no electrical supply is necessary. If electricity is available, then it is possible to install an electrical manipulating device having a maximum capacity of 0.75 kW.

Its material can be stainless steel (1.4301) or acid resistant steel (1.4571):

The HydroFlush sewer flush has the function of cleaning sediment accumulating in small diameter sewer sections. By its use the sewer becomes usable at its full cross section and it provides protection against formation of unpleasant odours.

A flushing shaft is to be created for the equipment, and then the HydroFlush sewer flush has to be installed in this shaft. The operation of the equipment is automatic, and it allows a continuous flushing of sewers. No external energy source is necessary. During operation it provides a long lasting consistent flushing wave.

The HydroGuard Mini flushing shield can be used for eliminating sediment in long and medium size sewer sections (DN600 – DN2000).

The load by pollutants through stormwater discharge can be reduced by its use, and at the same time, it ensures a more consistent load to the wastewater treatment plant. Also, the lifespan of sewers is increased, the odours are eliminated, and costly mobile mode of sewer cleaning is avoided. The flushing is kept constant even during dry weather, in this way it prevents the settling of silt in a proactive manner. The cleaning is accomplished by the energy of the sudden water level drop of water impounded behind the flushing shield (extraction wave).

The radially acting HydroSelf flushing flap is suitable for eliminating sediments in circular and small rectangular tanks. The equipment is filled automatically even when the tank is partially full. No external energy source is required because of the float operating system, therefore, no operating costs is encountered.

The equipment is characterised by long operating life and high cleaning efficiency even in case of large sediment.
